Welcome to Kids Week 2024! A successful Kids Week takes a large number of volunteers throughout the week. On average we see 1000-1500 children come through our doors. It takes both adults volunteers and youth to lead our children…..We love that you are serving with us as we reach children for Christ. It would not be possible without you.

What YOU may need to KNOW

When is Kids Week?

Kids Weeks will be Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June 20 and Monday, June 24 through Thursday, June 27. We will meet each day from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon.

We are asking that all leaders be at the church and at your assigned location by 7:45am each day.

Supplies

You will receive a box of general supplies for your room. Please check and let us know if there are any additional supplies that you may need.

Who can come to Kids Week?

Kids Week is for children who are 4 years old - 5th grade. We will also be providing childcare for birth through 3 year olds for Kids Week Leadership only.

Schedule

Included in this handbook are schedules for each grade. It is very important that you know your schedule and do your best to stay on time.

Returning Supplies

On Thursday we are asking that you take all of your supplies and place them in the appropriate boxes located in the hall (or at the gym).

Celebration Event

On Friday nights (June 21st & 28th) we will be having celebration events in the park.

Friday, June 21st will be for the 4 year olds - 2nd Grade and Friday, June 28th will be for the 3rd - 5th Graders and Special Needs. This is a family event. We will have pizza, drinks, water inflatables, and a special baptism service. On this event, we are asking our teachers to help us at the park. Since this is a family event, there will be no younger childcare available on these nights

We ask that all volunteers arrive by 5 pm each night.

Worship Rally and Decision Service

A worship rally will be held Monday - Thursday at 11:30 am in the sanctuary. All children will be picked up in the sanctuary.

On Thursday, we will be having a decision service. I am asking for one leader from each class to help with counseling.

During both the rally time and the decision service, we are asking all leaders to go to the sanctuary and sit with your class.

Set-up Day

You may begin setting up your room on Sunday, June 16th. We are encouraging leaders to create a fun environment. Our theme is "Breaker Rock Beach" (Beach Theme).

Tuesday - Wacky Tacky Day
Wednesday - Crazy Hair Day
Thursday - Hawaiian Shirt Day
